Apple Waffles

Mix up a batch of waffles.
Add 1 c. Shredded Apples
1 tsp. Cinnamon

Cook waffles like you normally do.

Apple Cider Syrup-

2 c. Apple Cider (I use apple juice taste the same to me)
1 c. Sugar
2 Tbs. Corn Starch
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 Tbs. Lemon Juice
1/2 c. Butter

Heat in a sauce pan until it thickens to syrup consistency. Good with apple waffles or just add to plain old everyday waffles.

Easy Cheese Cake

8oz. Cream Cheese
1/3 c. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Vanilla
Can of Sweet Cond. Milk

Mix together and pour mixture into a gram cracker crust (pie pan size). Place in fridge till it is set up all the way through. Add fruit topping and serve!

Bacon Wrapped Chestnuts

1lb. Bacon
2 Cans Whole Chestnuts

Sauce-
1 c. Catchup
1/2 c Brown Sugar

Cut bacon in half, wrap half strip around each chestnut, poke a toothpick through to hold bacon together, set on cookie sheet. Place in oven Bake 375 for 30 minutes. Take out and pour sauce on each one, put back in oven for 15 more min.

Spinach Dip

Knorr Spring Vegetable Mix
16 oz Sour Cream
1c. Mayo
10oz. Frozen Spinach chopped
3 green onions chopped
1/2 can water chestnuts (chop)

Mix-chill and serve. Yummy with bread, chips or whatever you like.

Stroganoff

1lb. Ground Beef

1 Family size of Cream of Mushroom
8oz Sour Cream
Egg Noodles

Cook noodles according to directions, brown ground beef, mix ground beef with soup, add noodles, mix. Take off heat and stir in sour cream. Salt to taste.

Yummy, easy and kids love it!

This was a favorite growing up, but we fix ours a little different. We only occasionally add the sour cream (if we have some!)

and we add a can of mushrooms (if we have em!) Good either way and OH SO EASY! ~Kate
